Sightline Bookkeeping is a local bookkeeping practice in Montgomery, Texas. The name is the promise: a sightline is the clear, unobstructed line between you and the thing you are trying to see. Most owners we talk to cannot see their own numbers, and it is costing them money in ways they will not find out about until spring.
How we work
The same person every month
You are not handed to whoever picks up the ticket. You work with one bookkeeper who learns your vendors, your seasons and the three accounts that always need a second look.
A fixed price, said out loud
The price is quoted on the first call and it is the price. Nobody bills you for the email asking what an invoice was for.
Closed by the 10th
A deadline that does not move. Numbers you get in March about January are history, not information.
Plain English
Every monthly package comes with a short note in ordinary words: what changed, what is worth a look, and what needs a decision from you.
Who you will be working with
Sightline is owner-run. The person you speak to on the first call is the person who reconciles your accounts, and they will still be the person who reconciles them a year from now.
We are bookkeepers. That is a real trade with real standards, and it is a different trade from tax. Sightline does not prepare or file returns, does not represent you before the IRS, and does not give tax advice. When a question is genuinely a tax question, we say so and send it to your CPA rather than guessing at it.

Based in Montgomery, TX 77356, and working with businesses in Montgomery, Conroe, Willis, The Woodlands, Tomball, Spring and Huntsville. The work is mostly remote; the drive, when it is needed, is short.
